Exceeding expectations is where satisfaction ends and loyalty begins.
— Ron Kaufman
Have you ever received something that exceeded your expectations? Isn’t it nice when that happens?
I had that happen recently and that was when I received a tree from King of Christmas. I met the representatives of King of Christmas at a conference and they offered to send me a tree of my choice. Well they didn’t have to ask me twice!!!
I had always wanted a flocked tree and of course, decorating for Christmas is one of my favorite things so it was a win win for me!
An honest opinion…
In case you think they are paying me extra to say nice things, no that is not the case. I am here to give you my honest opinion of the tree and will not be receiving anything further.
What exactly did I receive?
I received a “9′ Queen Flock® LED Lights”. It is 67″ wide, has 4377 tips and 1100 warm white micro LED lights. Click here for a link to this tree.
I have had multiple artificial Christmas trees in the past, and my children have purchased two very expensive trees from what is probably thought of to be one of the leading artificial Christmas tree producers, and I believe the tree I received is even better. Why? Well keep on reading…

#1 – The Shape
The shape of the tree is lovely and it is just the right size – not too big but not too small.
The branches have so much variety and are so well made that they look real.
The flocking has been properly done so that it is heavier where the snow would naturally land.
Biggest surprise – it looks like it does online. There are no gaps in the branches and it is very dense. The trees I have had in the past did not come close to looking like they did online.
Just look at the variety of shapes and sizes of the branches and the fullness – you can’t see through the tree!

#2 – The lights
The lights are the perfect luminosity – not too bright, not too dull, not too yellow and not too cool. They are treat to look at and the provide your room with a warm glow.
The lights also have 8 different settings – from steady, to flashing, to glowing and pulsing.
The photo below is a better representation of the color of the lights. The one above, shows them as more yellow. Not sure why because they don’t look like that, but they do look like the lights below.

#3 – The Ease of Assembly
I put the tree together by myself, except that my husband put on the very top piece. It was so easy! The directions were easy to follow and it all fit together well.
They also provided long gloves for pulling the branches apart which made the job so easy.
After getting all of the branches on that 9ft flocked tree into place, I has just a slight skim of flocking that had fallen off. I was in shock. My daughter’s flocked tree that she got last year, shedded so badly that I thought she wouldn’t have any flocking on it by the end of the season, not to mention the continual cleanup that is required.
The remote that comes with the tree is also so handy – so much better than the foot operated button one I had last year. This tree does come with the foot operated button but it also comes with the remote so a person can choose what they prefer.
They also provided a very large bag and then bags for each section of the tree, to make storage after Christmas very easy.

#4 – It’s more than a Christmas tree!
What stood out to me as soon as I put this tree up is the longevity that I will be able to get out of it because it doesn’t scream Christmas. It does say natural and winter and therefore I can have it up from November to the end of January. It will start out as a winter tree, transition into Christmas and then finish off the season as winter again.
Look how beautiful it is without a single ornament on it!!!

I feel that winter is one of the most over-looked seasons for decorating. We are all about spring, summer, fall and Christmas, but what out the bigger picture of winter?
This tree brings so much warmth and may I say it glamour to our living room, that I definitely want to keep it up as long as I can.
So what’s up next then?
Well, of course, I am going to show you how to decorate a winter tree.
Keep an eye out for my next post and until then…
If you need some Christmas decor inspiration…

Happy whatever season you find yourself in.
Here where I live in Canada, we are below freezing and expecting snow tonight!!!
To most that would signal winter, but winter doesn’t officially start for over another month! Ahhhhh!!!! Now you know why I love summer so much, winter weather starts here before it’s actually winter!
Thank you as always for sticking through to the end!
