Building our forever home at Sweet Valley Acres has been a dream for over 30 years.  When we realized this dream in 2016, we embarked on it wholeheartedly, however, we encountered many problems.  In this blog, I am sharing with you all that we have learned about developing a property, designing a home and pool and constructing both.  Home design, home construction and property development are complicated processes.  Working with a quality builder and trades is essential.  We are a hands on family so we did 95% of the work ourselves.   Come join us as I share our home building journey!
